After extraordinary tour to Mount John observatory we got up next morning to the beautiful view of Lake Tekapo :
We walked around because we knew our trip was coming to end and we still wanted to enjoy our last days, actually hours.
Down the path by the lake there was a small church:
That was the Church of the Good Shepherd:
Not far from the church there was a monument to a sheep dog:
Here was a story of it:
Driving back to Christchurch, where we started our South Island adventure, we stop for few more beautiful views:
We spent the night in Christchurch and the next day flew to Auckland:
We drove back to Valda’s home. We spent the last day packing, walked around Warkworth, again, we enjoyed the view from Valda’s terrace:
Bye bye, New Zealand!
