Welcome to my website! I am a Lithuanian quilt artist who draws inspiration primarily from nature: flowers, trees, leaves, rocks, water. In my quilt, I am not painting a realistic picture. I only follow nature’s lines, shapes, and colors, while trying to catch the movement. I keep my focus on color and texture. My hand dyed fabrics supply the colors while machine quilting, and sometimes hand stitching, satisfies my desire for texture. Maryte Collard
